Every library is one of the future, in a sense that it has always been a site of self-design, a (de)sign carrier of the human search for its own being, its own forms.The extreme, and somewhat destabilizing relationships, between the infinity of possibilities of re-creating oneself that are embedded in libraries, and the quietness and clear codes of their spaces in which this infinity is immersed, is the secret of this program's flexibility and therefor its survivability. Our design, hence, is based on an extreme rigid and dense grid, that enables an extreme flexibility of activities and of conditions for searching and re-searching.
