A culture of peace, we would like to argue, is a culture of maximum readability: one that defines and redefines itself through its own differences and irregularities. A state of readability is a state of deviation and at the same time of inhabitation, and therefor it is a state of reading and being read at the same time; a combined state of object-landscape, in architectural terms. A culture that allows that, is a culture that provides the basicconditions for peace.
